Diverter pulleys

Deflection pulleys made of grey cast iron or plastic. Used to divert hoisting ropes which are used for cable drive elevators – dependant on the configuration of the drive – to the counterweight and car suspension.

The configuration has to be selected so that the hoisting ropes are as straight as possible and deflect without twisting. Bending cycles, diagonal pull or diversions of the ropes increase wear and tear and reduce service life.
