Inspection controls
What are inspection controls?
To operate a lift in ascending and descending direction from the cab roof,
e.g. for service work. If the inspection controls are switched on the normal lift controls,
door drive and the retrieve controls are ineffective.
The controls are operated as dead man’s control, i.e. travel only continues for as long as
the respective direction button is pressed.
The inspection journey panel has a red mushroom button as an emergency stop button for safety.
