Type tested lift

Homogeneous lifts in large numbers undergo a type examination to simplify the acceptance procedure before commissioning.

The manufacturer has a sample lift tested for technical reliability and safe operation by a notified body (e.g. TÜV). The notified body then issues a type examination certificate for all identical lifts in this series.
